Dream the Impossible Dream

Dream Impossible Dream

It means…not possible; unable to be, unable to be done, cannot be performed, utterly impracticable!

But do you know all these are words invented by man?

The word from God is…”Nothing shall be impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:20)

Now, what looks like an impossible dream before you? That’s exactly the dream you must dream – The Impossible…Because with God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37).

Every time you dream the impossible dream – you are making a connection with God. And nothing is impossible if you have a connection with God.

The first step in connecting with God is to see the invisible. Seeing the invisible is relating with God through faith based on His word. Faith is our spiritual eyes that sees the way God sees. And when you can see the way God sees, anything is possible.

The second step to making a reality out of your impossible dream is to see what God says. Do you know vision or revelation is about seeing what God says, not just hearing it. And what we can see is sometimes powerful and effective than what we hear. Prophet Habakkuk said, “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower and will watch to see what He (God) will say to me…” (2:1)

The most important issue here now is to define how God sees. And that’s how to connect to the realm of moving pass the impossible.

1 Samuel 16:17 says, “But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the looks on the heart.”

All things are possible with God because He sees differently. He looks on the invisible. But man is limited because he looks on the visible. For instance, when Jesus wanted to feed over five thousand people in Mark 6:35-44, the disciples could only see five loaves and two fishes – the limited provision that will not do anything. But Jesus saw the unlimited provision that can be tapped into if the limited is committed to the unlimited God. As long as the disciples continue to judge by what is available…the only thought they could produce is what they can do and not what God can do.

But dreaming impossible dream is about shifting your thinking from what you can do to depending on what God alone can do. And another dimension to this is shifting your focus from your limitations to what God can do through your limitations.

Never consider your weakness to be a problem for God in using you to accomplish great things for Him. God is not looking for our strengths…He is looking for our faith, obedience and faithfulness to His call upon our lives.

Therefore, go ahead and dream the impossible dreams for God.

Do not limit God to your SIZE.
