Escaping the Trap of Discouragement – March 8 – Journey of Leadership Daily Devotion

Before we get to the point where I’m going to share four things you must value in order to  rise above any form of discouragement, the Lord wants me to share this very important aspect with you.

Discouragement is a trap to destroy you!

Every time you are discouraged, you are vulnerable to various attacks that can completely damage your life. The vulnerability that discouragement brings is the reason Satan usually love to attack many people with this dangerous weapon.

Discouragement makes the strongest to become the weakest

In discouragement, strength turns to weakness. But in courage, weakness turns to strength.

In other words, supernatural strength always accompany courage while weakness usually come with discouragement. That’s why God kept on charging Joshua to be strong and courageous.

Be courageous!

No matter how weak you look compared to what you are going through, God is able to make you stronger than every challenge in your life if you can be courageous.

It’s time to stop Satan from using discouragement to weaken you in the  pursuit of the purpose of God for your life.

Take courage that the One who lives in You is Superior to the one who lives in the World

Be fully armed with the confidence that you  have not been redeemed to be defeated. Christ has paid a triumphant price for everyone who can trust Him enough.

Don’t allow the trap of discouragement to make you weak and vulnerable to Satan. Your best only lies in your courage, not in your discouragement.
