Fear fighters are action takers.
You can never rule over your fear except you learn to take faith action in the direction God is leading you.
The number one enemy you must learn to fight is fear. Satan employs fear as the most effective tool to limit many who are meant to carry out great things for God with their lives.
Fear is a recognition of your limitation
Fear is good when you recognize your limitation without God. The kind of fear we must have if we are going to rise above certain pressures in our lives is to recognize our utter uselessness and weakness without God.
Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does” (John 5:19NLT).
The Truth You must Always tell Yourself
Jesus told us the truth we must always tell ourselves, that we can do nothing without God. Oftentimes, we are paralysed by great challenges beyond our control because we have not sought strength from God.
We will Prevail with God
Jesus revealed another secret of prevailing in the same John 5:19. “He does only what He sees the Father doing.”
This is simply a lifestyle of faith. Jesus learnt to focus on the Father. He concentrated on looking at the Father always.
In the same manner, we have been called to keep looking unto Jesus, the One who begins and perfects our faith (Hebrews 12:2). When we learn to live our lives by doing only what we see Jesus doing, we will be unstoppable by any kind of fear that wants to limit us.
By ourselves, we can do nothing. But through a life of faith in Jesus, we will always prevail in the face of all odds.
Pray for Grace to keep looking unto Jesus, no matter what the situation is!
“Jesus learnt to focus on the Father. He concentrated on looking at the Father always.”
“…Weep not; behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof” (Revelation 5:5)
