How to Attract Provision for Your Vision – April 2 – Journey of Leadership Daily Devotion

Many of us are used to a common saying that for every vision, there is a provision.

This is true but we have to understand the practicality of how vision indeed attracts provision.

There is more to just saying that there is a provision for every vision without understanding the principles that attracts the provisions.

I’ll like to share some few things that true and genuine visionaries who wants to have effective visions must know if we are going to access provisions meant for the fulfillment of our visions.

See Beyond Money

One of the major problems of our time is attachment of money to everything we do.

We believe everything revolves around money – relationship, ministry, business, and even our relationship with God.

An average visionary in our time is money driven, not purposeful driven to fulfill God’s interest in his or her generation.

It’s quite pathetic how money consciousness has made a shipwreck of many leaders who think that the first and most important thing about provision to fulfill a vision is money.

This is a false premise on which most of us have been building what we do and the pursuit of our vision. Because of this, the real value and purpose of what God commits to us have been lost.

Many of us have mortgaged and sacrificed great relationships on the altar of seeking money.

Gehazi, who could have become a mighty prophet in Israel thought the primary provision for vision fulfilment is money.

He eventually lost his ministry, aborted the making of his leadership effectiveness, truncated his destiny untimely and became a curse instead of a blessing to generations after him (2 Kings 5:20-27).

The word of Paul to his son in faith, Timothy always ring in my heart, “But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness” (1 Timothy 6:11).

Dear beloved leader, when it comes to provision for vision, don’t covet or crave after money so that you won’t err from true faith and pierce yourself with many sorrows.

Ask the Lord for help to conquer the love and pursuit of money.

“Your vision will attract provisions when you follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness”

Matthew 5:13-16
