Anointing is for Warfare!

Life is a battle field. Leaders without the anointing will not be able to withstand the fierceness of this battle.

David knew the purpose of God’s anointing upon his life when he said, “What have I now done? Is there not a Cause?

Our battle is not against flesh and blood. It is against spiritual powers of darkness that rules the hearts of men. It is against the policies and constitutions that aims at paralyzing, destroying and weakening the authority of Christ on the earth.

The battle for leaders is against philosophies, theories and doctrines of the devil pulling people away from understanding God and His purpose for them.

Leaders are made for war! They are not called for fun. You are not anointed for fun, you are anointed for warfare. Every anointed leader is made for war.

Leaders have the battle against habits and addictions wrecking lives and destinies. They  must be equipped to bring people out of the bondage of sin and death.

When anointing is converted to fun,  it has power to ruin the anointed. The effectiveness of the anointed is measured based on effectiveness on the battlefields.

God never anoints for fun. He anoints for His purpose. He anoints to empower ordinary people to carry out extraordinary assignments in the midst of dangers.

This is one of the reasons every anointed is a high target of the enemy. The anointing destroys the yoke of the enemies and remove their burdens off the shoulder of God’s people.

In the benefit of anointing also lies its destructive power. When the purpose of anointing is misunderstood and misused, it spells doom and destruction for the anointed.

We must never trivialized the power and purpose of the anointing. Great lessons abound from Bible and contemporary leaders on God’s purpose and principles of receiving and operating in the anointing.

When you are anointed to lead, you have to arise and face the battles for which God has anointed you. Don’t take anointing to lead for a life of pleasure. It is to accomplish God’s purpose. It is for warfare!

It is to establish the victory that Christ has gotten over the devil on the Cross. You are anointed to enforce this victory over the sphere of assignment you have been assigned by the Lord.

Father, help us to arise in Your anointing to become enforcers of Christ’s victory on the earth.

“When you are anointed to lead, you have to arise and face the battles for which God has anointed you.”
