Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.
There’s a void in every life that can only be filled by a sense of fulfilment that comes through a dogged pursuit of God’s purpose for our lives.
Hence, it must always ring in our ears that we are all special and we have a chosen task in this world to fulfil.
Meanwhile, the clarion call to fulfil God’s purpose usually comes with challenges.
There is no doubt that we are in a challenging period spiritually, economically, politically and socially all over the world.
But at the same time, this is the greatest opportunity for those who have the sense of purpose to rise to the challenge of maximizing their potentials in responding with holy and bold courage to fulfil their God-ordained purpose.
The Response Required in a Challenging Period like this
is to stir up the hearts of those who have been prepared by God for a period like this to rise up to the urgent task of fulfilling purpose for which they have been called and positioned where they are.
For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the manifestations of the sons of God, for the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly but because of Him who subjected it in hope.
This is not the period to be complaining and mourning our disadvantages, limitations and challenges as a group, organization, church, family, society and as a nation.
Rather, this is the time to rise to the challenge before us.
For the only way to justify our suffering is to make the best out of it just like Joseph did.
This is a period that God is looking for responsive Joseph-Like people who will understand the reason they have been through the sufferings of life.
So I want to challenge you to rise up. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
In other words, the Lord has put into all His children what we need to live above the challenges of life in order to fulfil His purpose.
He has put into all of us what will make our lives meaningful and purposeful, to succeed, to deliver others from oppression, to accomplish the counsel of God, to touch Heaven with our lives, to bring revival, cause innovations, transform organizations and our nations.
But the starting point is our response to this leadership call.
Will you respond?
