Stairs of Provision – April 8 – Journey of Leadership Daily Devotion

I mentioned in the previous devotions that our attention should not be on money but on pleasing the Lord. But the truth is, when our attention is focused on pleasing the Lord, He ensures we are not stranded.

You can’t be stranded pursuing the interest of God in your Life, family, business, organization or ministry.

Our decision to go all the way after what the Lord has committed to our hands commit God to ensure that all we need to fulfill His vision are made available to us.

Meanwhile, God’s provisions for His given vision are waiting for us on the mountain called the “Mountain of Provision.” The mountain we encounter Jehovah-Jireh God.

Every visionary who ever experienced God’s supernatural provisions at one time or the other learnt how to climb this mountain of provision to access what God has prepared for them.

There’s no one who desires God’s provision that will ever escape the climbing of this mountain.

I will share with you the stairs we must take to access our provision from the example of Abraham in Genesis 22:1-14. One will only be mentioned in today’s devotion. I will continue with others tomorrow.

The Stair of Love Expression

Love is not in word, it is in action. Love is best expressed than explained. The first stair the Lord asked Abraham to take in climbing the mountain of provision is an expressed love.

Many of us claim to love God with our mouths but denies Him in our actions. Many times we claim to love God, we are only saying, “I love you as long as it clashes not with the love I have for myself, my spouse, children, career and even ministry.

Please note. This is one major reason the best of God has been withheld from the lives of most people and what they claim to love.

We can never get to a place that God will release His genuine anointing, power, treasures and provisions into our lives except there is nothing we love more than God or which can not be released to Him. This will be tested in practice not in words.

#PrayerBurden
Ask for the fire of God’s love to burn beyond every other love in your heart.
