Do you sense a longing and unexplainable dissatisfaction in you that makes you feel there is more to who you are than the work you are doing?
As for me, I feel it often and I will not desire that such a dissatisfaction ever depart until I reach the point to say like Paul that, “I have finished my course.”
In fact, during one my devotional times with the Holy Spirit, I felt such a very huge Presence of Jesus around me just like He visited Paul the apostle. And the only prayer I heard my understanding praying in the spirit was, “Lord! Keep me Weak! Lord! Keep me Weak! Lord! Keep me Weak!
Fulfilling the work we have received from the Lord requires a posture of weakness that will always need to depend on the Lord always and often.
When you have access to the revelation of the Spirit as a Leader, you will realize how weak you are to fulfill the huge assignment the Lord is calling you to.
Each time you feel very desperate to become more for the Lord with your life, it’s a good sign that you are not lost in dead works.
The more we grow close to Christ, the more we will realize our banktrupcy and dire need of Him.
The tendencies to be satisfied with shallow effectiveness and fruitfulness loses hold on us whenever we realize how great, big, and urgent our need of God is.
Dear beloved leader, maintain a continuous posture of weakness in your walk with God. Paul said in second Corinthians 12:9-10 that, “I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me..For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
Father, Please, help me never to become independent of You!
“Dear beloved leader, maintain a continuous posture of weakness in your walk with God.”
